Symposium Celebrating the Thirty-fifth Anniversary of the Publication of Mañana: Christian Theology from a Hispanic Perspective

We at the Justo and Catherine Gonzalez Resource Center are excited about celebrating the thirty-fifth anniversary of the publication of Justo’s Mañana: Christian Theology from a Hispanic Perspective. This groundbreaking book, written for an English-speaking readership, changed the way that many of us understand God’s presence.

On February 4 and 5, 2026, we hope you will join us at a symposium recognizing the impact of Mañana and exploring ways in which we can use what we learned from it. (See the schedule below.)

While the event is free, you do need to register. Please click on the "register for the symposium" button on the right. When you do so, you will receive an email from EventBrite asking you to set up an account to view your “tickets.” You do not need to do that. AETH is using this program to secure numbers for the dinner on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

We are also holding an Open House at the Gonzalez Center from 3:00 to 5:00 on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, where you will have a chance to visit with Justo and Catherine.

We hope to see you there.
